DESCRIPTION & ITINERARY
Day 1 & 2. Discover the untouched beauty of Dubrovnik. Gather last minute provisions including strong flavoured home made brandy, unique to Dubrovnik. With a guide explore the city's history and take in the breath-taking views of the Atlantic, your home for the next few days!
Explore the coves and caves. A plethora of clear seas and peaceful, unnamed beaches await. See where wind and whim take you on a private yacht with 140 islands and islets to choose from. Drift along the sun-soaked shores as you fish for big game until twilight, eat your fresh catch on board or dine at a tavern in a hidden cove before stargazing on the open seas.
Day 3.-8 As you explore some of Croatia's 1000 + islands. Drop anchor and take a dip before lunch. Settle in Kobas Bay renowned for its delicious, healthy Mediterranean diet. Feast on fresh fish, vegetables and the best wines. You will also discover Elaphiti islands one of Croatia's authentic fishing villages. The port of Sobra is also a quiet fishing village, perfect for some peaceful relaxation. Swim off the rocks and enjoy the few local restaurants in the town, or dine on-board with your catch of the day. The island of Mijet is best appreciated for its wild untouched natural beauty. Two thirds of the island is National Park.
For your history fix the island of Korcula was built on the foundations of an Ancient Greek colony. Here you can see Gothic and Renaissance buildings and of course the birth place of Marco Polo, visiting the house where he lived.
Sail on to Zaklopatica on the island of Lastovo, a beautiful wooded bay on the north side of the island and covered by thick forest. The island is relatively uninhabited and is the ideal spot for divers to explore crystal clear waters.
Day 9&10 Return back to Dubrovnik and dry land and spend your last 2 days regaling each other with colourful accounts of the past few days and further exploring the surrounding areas of Dubrovnik.
